English 5º: Exam review

Remember, our Unit 1 exam is on Wednesday for both 5ºA and 5ºB. In this blog post, you have some activities to review the content of Unit 1 and learn more.

May for permission: We use "May I...?" to ask for something or to ask for permission. For example: "May I go to the toilet, please?" is a more polite way to ask "Can I go to the toilet, please?". Which examples can you find in the video?

Present continuous: In Unit 1 we have reviewed the present continuous form. Remember that in Present Continuous we use the ver to be + a verb in the -ing form. For example: "I am writing a blog post". Here you have some exercises and games:

Verb to be questions: Are you scared? Are you excited? Questions with the verb to be were reviewed also in this Unit 1 and are part of the exam.

Can you find any examples of Present Continuous and questions with the verb to be in the songs? If you do, post them in a comment.

And of course, you also need to study the vocabulary from the unit. See you!
